The Sculpture's Yard met our requirements for our two day stay in the city - Jo-Ann, South Africa, 18 December 2018

The accommodation was quaint and clean. After traveling from overseas, it was a pleasure to have a quiet space to rest. The beautiful garden was a welcome relief to stretch our legs and unwind. Heleen is a very accommodating hostess. I was even fortunate enough to join her in one of her fast paced morning walks.

We had to make a last minute booking due to problems with the booking we made at another place. The host was extremely accommodating, friendly and the service was excellent. I will highly recommend staying here to anyone that asks and will in future always book with them on my trips to Pretoria. Thank you for making our stay an excellent weekend, your facilities are 5 star and your service is top notch.

The place is situated in a very quiet area. The owners checked with us frequently but did not bother us. Even the dogs do not bother the guests. The place is close to the central business area.

Home from home but 5 star hotel standards. Super clean.. amazing pets. Easy transport connections. The whole household is welcoming, warm and friendly even the doggies make you feel at home. Plus soooo many extras. Heleen was absolutely fabulous and made my experience so lovely i didnt want to leave. This is one to try folks

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden and lovely sculptures. 2 dogs gave a homely feeling. Bed very comfortable with nice clean linen. Bathroom very clean with a bath and shower. Nice location. Overall lovely experience. Host offered us breakfast but we had a breakfast appointment. Wi Fi and DSTV. Everything you need in the kitchen, nice and of good quality. I would definately recommend The Sculpture Yard.

After a long days' work, you want to go rest and this guest house felt like home. Comfortable could make your own warm drinks. Very neat and clean. Breakfast was excellent anything you asked for Helena had. Will stay here anytime. Driveway a bit tricky to get out but safe.

Beautiful view of the sculptures, gives the place character. Very friendly host. The appartment was warm and cozy, made us forget that we weren't at home.

Heleen and Andre were exceptional hosts and went out of their way to accommodate me. The apartment is clean, spacious, cosy, stylish and well-furnished. All amenities are further provided for. There’re safe parking, Netflix, 10mb speed WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, and the apartment is surrounded with artworks on the outside that contribute to a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The pets were furthermore lovely and at an advanced age so not at all a nuisance when it comes to barking. I highly recommend the Sculpture Yard and will definitely consider staying there again.

Upon our arrival we received such a warm welcome that we felt at ease immediately. When we got to the apartment, it was the beautiful cosy place that we had expected. The introductory walkabout the apartment was highly comprehensive which made it feel like home to us. There were so many kind gestures that our phenomenal host extended to us throughout our stay: the complimentary chocolates on our pillows, the welcome gift, the compliments as we made our way out and offering to take a photo of us. She is truly a great host and this made it so easy to communicate with her throughout. FYI: Heleen provides handy tips about the local attractions and there is Netflix and WiFi at the apartment.
